I have installed Kali properly on virtualbox 4.2.18, assigned 20GB disk space and 2000mb of ram. I installed the extensionpack for the usb-drivers and enabled the device filter. I set up guest additions for root username and set the network interfaces to bridged/allow all/cable connected. Next, is used my linksys-cisco WUSB54G wireless adapter, plugged it in, booted up kali, and selected it in devices/usb devices. No wlan0 or wlan1 shows up on the ifconfig command. Only eth1-eth2-eth3 showed up. Next I installed the ralink RT2500 drivers and still only the eth1-eth2-eth3 showed up.
